Tried short ribs, fried rice, hot & sour soup, the spicy wontons and egg rolls. Let just say that it was the best tasting food I’ve had in a while. The service was terrific and very attentive. I finished my experience with their fried mini balls with condensed milk and it was 😘 🤌 I can’t wait to be back!
First time customer, I did get take away but very much look forward to coming in person and trying a lot more thing on the menu. Hands down top 5 Chinese cuisine in DFW. I have nothing bad to say, everything was fresh, flavorful and well portioned. I got the Shanghai Fried Rice with chicken, Sheng Jian (Pan fried soup dumplings), Scallion Pancake and chocolate steamed dumplings filled with banana and Nutella. I was told to try the duck so I will be back for that and much more. If you’re on the fence just do it, it’ll be worth it.
You seriously can’t go wrong at Shanghai Taste! The pan-fried pork buns are absolute perfection — crispy on the bottom, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Every dish tastes incredibly fresh, and the food comes out fast without sacrificing quality. On top of that, the service is so friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. This place is a gem in Plano and definitely one we’ll keep coming back to!
